FireandIceFacialImage01What is a Fire and Ice Facial?

This intensive clinical treatment is designed to resurface the skin, thereby reducing fine lines and wrinkles and deep cleansing blocked pores. Precise combinations of two iS Clinical professional treatment masks are complimented by serums and creams with aromas of warm cinnamon and cool peppermint.

How it works

The “Fire” part of the facial is an Intensive Resurfacing Masque clinically formulated with 18% unbuffered glycolic acid , lactic acid, citric acid, malic acid, retinol, vitamin B3 and potent antioxidants, including green tea extracts. The treatment can be used on the face, neck and décolleté.

The following step in the facial includes a rejuvenating mask- the “ice part” as it is a cool, soothing and intensively hydrating masque containing hyaluronic acid, aloe vera gel, Japanese green tea extracts, licorice extracts, grape seed extracts and rosemary extracts. This pampering part of the facial cools the initial “peel” and leaves the skin glowing.

What to Expect

• the skin usually glows
• skin will typically feel tight and firm after treatment
• mild redness of the skin may occur following treatment
• there should be little to no scaling and downtime after the facial
• it may be repeated at four-week intervals (a series of 5 facials is suggested to receive the optimum clinical effect)
• care for your skin by using the complete iS Clinical product range

• protect your new skin with adequate sunscreen of Eclipse SPF 50

Male Botox or ‘Brotox’ up 25% in 2013

December 10th, 2013

Male clientele for aesthetic treatments is up 25% on previous year.

An article in the Daily Mail last week delivered the message that male Botox , or as it is becoming known as ‘Brotox’ is on the substantial rise!  You can read the  full article HERE.

It states that clinics are reporting an increase in  treatments for males by 25% over the previous year, and MBNS clinic in Thame, Oxfordshire would agree to this statistic.

MBNS has been treating both female and male patients for over 17 years.  The male perspective is really no different from the female one:  both want to look well rested and refreshed, without looking ‘done’.   The experienced nurse professionals at MBNS give treatments that provide a natural look, the aim being to make  you look your natural best at all times.

It is nice to see the increase of partners coming for Botox treatment together, where maybe in the old days, there was  a little more secrecy.

Whether it is Botox for frown lines, hyperhidrosis (underarm sweating) or Bruxism (teeth grinding), this multi faceted medicine is so effective.  Coupled with dermal fillers and treatments for the removal of sun damage and age spots, all treatments result in a fresh faced, and above all, natural look.  It is nice to see the increase of partners coming for treatment together, where maybe in the old days, there was a little more secrecy.

The regular male clientele are often happy to talk about their experiences also,  and MBNS have dedicated an area to their website all about the male perspective, see HERE.

If you would like to make a consultation with one of the nurse professionals, kindly call 01844 213007 or alternatively, fill out the contact us form HERE and we will get back to you swiftly.  We look forward to welcoming you and your partner to MBNS.
